The quarries and clay

The quarries owned by the Group are chosen specifically to guarantee the quality of finished products. The excavation machines best adapted to exploit the quarry are chosen on the basis of the quality and potential of the clay bed, the possible impurities contained within it, and maximum and minimum humidity levels.

Production-moulding

This is the process through which the raw material is formed with water using a brick-moulding machine. The moulding of the product can take place through extrusion or pressing.

Drying

This phase consists in a progressive elimination of water and vapour from the brick, making it pass through large tunnels called “artificial dryers”, fed with hot air that is mainly recovered from the cooling of the baked material/clay.

Baking

The products are baked in modern “tunnel” ovens made up of tunnels closed at either end with a double wall system that the trolleys are rolled into in a continuous cycle.

Packaging and delivery
